Light Weight Pneuamtic Marine Fender Tyres With Chain As Shalth For STD
yokohama fender uses compressed-air as medium to absorb the energy from impact. The sides of ships are softer when berthing, so the result of collision-avoiding is achieved. Compared with traditional bumper-style rubber fender, it has the following features, absorbing greater impact, less reverse impact on the ships, easy installation, more elasticity, not being bent out of shape under pressure, less weigh and practical and economical. So pneumatic fender has widespread application on oil tankers, container vessels, luxury yachts, ocean platforms, larges shipyards, military ports and larger underwater foundations of bridges, etc.
Pneumatic Fenders are suppiled with two different inside pressure levels to cover a wide performance range.
Pneumatic Fenders are available in diameters ranging from 300 mm to 4,500 mm and lengths ranging from 500 mm to 9,000 mm, as well as special sizes. All sizes are available as sling-type or with a heavy duty chain & tire net
The Pneumatic rubber fender also be certified by CCS, DNV, ABS, SGS and BV.
The Advantages of Pneumatic rubber fenders:
1 Safe for excess load.
The reaction force of floating fenders does not increase sharply even under excess load. Therefore, these fenders perform extremely well under such conditions and, as a result, protect ships and mooring facilities.
2 No deterioration or Variation in performance
Because pneumatic fenders use the compressive elasticity of air, there is no performance deterioration due to fatigue. The performance of these fenders remains unchanged at extremely low temperatures, even below -50℃.
3 Safety and reliability
Pneumatic rubber fenders are constructed using several layers of strong type cord and are therefore extremely resistant to pressure and cutting. The larger sizes (2.5m dia upward) are fitted with a safety valve to prevent accidents in event of over compression.
4 Simply and low cost installation
The weight of the fender is supported by the water on which it floats. Fenders can, therefore, be moored simply by means of a guy rope or chain at minimal cost. They can be removed easily to another position when not in use and transferred to alternative mooring points as required.
